JOIN US IN A CLUB THAT'S
JUST RIGHT FOR YOU!
HVCC is offering after-school clubs tailored to different interests so that every child feels engaged!
​
Your child MUST be registered for a club to attend HVCC. If your child is not registered for a club, they will need to call home to be picked up.
​
Space in each club is limited, so register soon! If your child registers fora club and does not regularly attend, we may give their spot to another child who would want the opportunity.
​
Take a look at our clubs below and register for the ones that your child will most enjoy! They can register for one club a day.
SNACK ATTACK KIDS
K-3RD
Everyone's favorite food group...snacks! Kiddos will learn how to make different snacks and fire up their taste buds. From sweet to salty, kids will be able to make a snack for any occasion!
SHUTTERBUGS
ALL AGES
Lights, camera, action! Kiddos will learn how to capture great pictures in a variety of settings! They will learn the basic concepts of photography, how to edit photos and even how to pose and model for their own photos!
LITTLE HOUDINIS
ALL AGES
Poof! Boredom has disappeared...
Kids will learn the art of magic and how to amaze all their friends and family members with sleight of hand and other mysterious tricks.
BASKETBALL
4TH-6TH
Our basketball intramural team is open to all kiddos who want to learn fundamental basketball skills and have fun!

Practices and scrimmages will be held Tuesdays + Thursdays at the HVCC Gym. If you are signed up for the Basketball Club, you cannot join another Thursday club. We will transport kiddos to the HVCC Gym, but parents must pick up their child at the gym.

TUESDAY CLUBS
DUNGEONS + DRAGONS
4TH AND UP
Kiddos will immerse themselves in a world of their own imagination! They'll create their own characters, explore the realm, and even fight a dragon or two along the way!
MAD SCIENTISTS
K-3RD
Explosions, foam and messy science, oh my! Kiddos will go through fun experiments and learn how all the chemical elements work together. They will interact with science in an engaging manner that makes it fun and easy to understand!
SUGAR + SPICE KIDS
4TH & UP
These kiddos will be made of sugar and spice and everything nice...or at least make yummy desserts that fit the description! They'll learn the basics of baking and whip up yummy desserts.
HOTSHOTS
K-3RD

WEDNESDAY CLUBS
GYMNASTICS
K-3RD
Tumble and flip on the mats! Kiddos will learn how to perform basic gymnastics moves and have fun getting their energy out. They'll stretch, tumble and have a blast with their friends!
BEEP BOOP TROOP
K-3RD
Let's make a robot! Kiddos will learn how to put together a robot and code it to make it come to life. They will use critical thinking skills and use their math and science skills to make their robot come together.
MISCHIEVIOUS MAKERS
3RD + UP
DIY Experts in the making! Kiddos will learn how to make their own home decor and crafts to spruce up the home! They'll handmake their own creations so they can point to it at home and proudly say "I made that!"

FRIDAY CLUBS
Clubs will be held from 10 AM -12 PM.
All kiddos will participate in swimming lessons at Hooper from 12-4 PM. They will be back at HVCC at 5 PM.
DEL NORTE ADVENTURERS
ALL AGES
Get those feet moving! Kiddos will get the opportunity to walk with Nurse Julie and count their steps with an odometer! We'll walk around town and explore our community while practicing healthy habits.
MINI SCULPTORS
4TH + UP
Get those hands dirty! Kiddos will learn the art of pottery and how to use their hands to sculpt beautiful masterpieces. They'll get the clay ready, create their pottery and learn how it gets fired to complete it!
